The OASIS IDtrust Member Section is pleased to announce the affiliation of the Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) technical committee. The new OASIS (KMIP) Technical Committee (TC) will work to define a single, comprehensive protocol for communication between encryption systems and a broad range of new and legacy enterprise applications, including email, databases, and storage devices. The OASIS KMIP TC will hold its first meeting at the RSA Conference in San Francisco on 24-April-2009. Teleconference facilities will be provided for members who are unable to attend in person.
